Obtaining a Visitor Visa to Indonesia for Citizens of Banned Countries
In accordance with the Regulation of The Minister of Law and Human Rights Republic of Indonesia Number 22 of 2023 regarding Visa and Stay Permit, foreign investors who fulfill the following criteria are given the facility to obtain Investor KITAS (Limited Stay Permit) to oversee the business operations in Indonesia:

A statement of commitment that the Foreigners will establish a company in Indonesia with a minimum invested capital (shares) or investment value of at least US$5,000,000 to be fulfilled within a maximum of 90 days from the date of the Temporary Stay Permit. 2. Share ownership in companies outside Indonesia is at least 0%. 3. The turnover/sales value for companies outside Indonesia is at least US$50,000,000. |

For Nusantara Capital City (IKN) investors, the turnover/sales value amount requirements for companies outside Indonesia are excluded. Immigration Guarantee for 10-Year Investor KITAS: 1. A statement of commitment that the Foreigners will establish a company in Indonesia with a minimum invested capital (shares) or investment value of at least US$10,000,000 to be fulfilled within a maximum of 90 days from the date of the Temporary Stay Permit. 2. For Nusantara Capital City (IKN) investors, the turnover/sales value amount requirements for companies outside Indonesia are excluded. |
Documents required to process the Investor KITAS:
From Sponsor Company
- Copy of Article of Association and Amendments (Akta Pendirian & Perubahan)
- Copy of Business License (Izin Usaha/SIUP)
- Copy of Company Registration Number (NIB-Nomor Induk Berusaha)
- Copy of Domicile Certificate (Surat Domisili)
- Copy of Tax Identification Number (NPWP)
- Copy of Deed of Establishment & Amendments (SK Kumham & Perubahan)
- Copy of Indonesian ID Card (KTP)/Passport/KITAS of Company Director
From Applicant
- Copy of Passport (Minimum Validity 18 months for 1-year validity and 36 Months for 2 and 5 years validity)
- 2 (two) passport-sized (4cmX6cm) photographs in white background
- Residence address in Indonesia & Country of Origin
Procedure:
- Upon the receipt of the required documents, AJ Consultants will apply for E-visa (VITAS) at the office of the Directorate General of Immigration (Dirjen Imigrasi).
- Office of Directorate General of Immigration (Dirjen Imigrasi) issues E-visa (VITAS) in 3-5 working days.
- AJ Consultants will send a copy of E-Visa to the applicant. Upon the receipt of E-Visa, the applicant can enter Indonesia. The validity of the E-Visa is 90 days, within this period the applicant must enter Indonesia and obtain the KITAS (Limited Stay Permit)
- After entering Indonesia, the applicant handovers the original passport to AJ Consultants for further conversion of visa (VITAS) into KITAS (Limited Stay Permit). During this process, applicant will be visiting the Immigration office once for Biometrics and interview.
- 3 to 4 days after the biometrics and interview immigration office will return the passport along with electronic KITAS to the applicant. The applicant is then free to travel from and to Indonesia for the period of KITAS validity.

The Investor KITAS is only given to the foreigners who own share in an Indonesian PT (Limited Liability Company) worth more than Rp. 1.000.000.000. If you fulfill this criteria, we can definitely help you with the Investor KITAS.
