Procedure:
- Upon the receipt of required documents, AJ Consultants will apply for Visa Approval/Telex at office of Directorate General of Immigration (Dirjen Imigrasi).
- Office of Directorate General of Immigration (Dirjen Imigrasi) issues Visa Approval/Telex in 3-5 working days. An automatic notification of the approval is sent to Indonesian Embassy or Consulate which is chosen by the applicant.
- AJ Consultants sends a copy of Visa Approval/Telex to applicant with instruction to stamp the visa (VITAS) at selected Indonesian Embassy or Consulate. Applicant then visits the Indonesian Embassy or Consulate for the stamping of Visa (VITAS) in his/her passport. The procedure and requirements for the visa stamping may vary Embassy to Embassy. Once the Visa (VITAS) is stamped, applicant will have 90 days to enter Indonesia.
- After entering Indonesia, the applicant handovers the original passport to AJ Consultants for further conversion of visa (VITAS) into KITAS (Temporary Residence Permit). During this process applicant will be visiting Immigration office once for Biometrics and interview.
- 3-4 days after the biometrics and interview immigration office will return the passport along with electronic KITAS to the applicant. The applicant is then free to travel from and to Indonesia for the period of KITAS validity.

Hello, if I am unmarried, with KITAS and giving birth soon, is it allowed to apply for dependent VISA for my baby once I gave birth?
Or I need to get married first before applying for the baby’s visa?
Dear Madam,
Thank you for your comment.
Yes you should be able to get your baby a dependent KITAS. The steps involved in the process are as follows:

My husband’s planning to come to Indonesia with me.
Can we apply for C317 visa?
Dear Ibu Ria,
Thank you for your comment.
For now Indonesia is not allowing new visas during the current lockdown (PPKM) which is now valid til 2nd Aug 2021 and can be extended. After the restrictions are dropped your husband should be able to get the C317 visa. We also can help you with the process. Important is your documents are complete for the process.
Please email us at visas@ajconsultants.net for information on the required documents and cost.

Hi, I am married with an Indonesian woman for 17 years.I uses to have KITAP until 2019. May I know how can I enter WNI? or what is the procedures? do I need KITAS?if so for how long before I enter KITAP? at the moment we are not in Indonesia.Thank you
Dear Sir,
Thank you for your comment.
In order to become WNI you need to have have KITAS and KITAP for continuously 5 years. If you have discontinued your KITAP that means you need to start with a KITAS first and then convert it to a KITAP next year. You need to hold this KITAP for 4 years and then 5th year of KITAP you can apply for Indonesian Citizenship.
You will be required to stay in Indonesia for few months during the process of WNI.
Should you require further information on this matter, please do not hesitate email us on cs@ajconsultants.net.

I was born into a mixed marriage. I’m 39 years old and currently living in Malaysia. My mother is still WNI, with a Bali KTP. I have German citizenship through my father, who is deceased.
Foreigners are soon required to leave Malaysia. My mom lives here on a retirement visa and can continue living here, but I will be not be able to.
I would like to enter Indonesia on the C317 visa, as it would keep me in Southeast Asia near family, and I do not have family in Europe.
Could I apply for a 2 year VITAS under this category?
How about the requirements for a KITAP? Would 5 consecutive years under this category KITAS eventually lead to a KITAP?
Thank you for your information.

Hi. Can I sponsor my parents to join me in Indonesia if I have work visa?
Dear Siti,
Thank you for your comment.
No you cannot sponsor your parents to join you in Indonesia. But you may look for the option of Retirement KITAS, if they are already 55 years old or more.
