Once issued, AJ Consultants will forward the E-Visa to the applicant, who must print and present it at the immigration counter upon entry into Indonesia. The E-Visa must be utilized within 90 days from the date of issuance.
Following entry into Indonesia, the Limited Stay Permit will be sent by the Directorate General of Immigration to the email address provided in the online application. Subsequently, AJ Consultants will process the STM (Police Report) and SKTT (Civil Registration) for the applicant.
Hello,
I am a US citizen, planning to retire in Surabaya, Indonesia with my husband. It says on this website that accommodation must be located at an authorized tourist area. Is Surabaya considered as one of the areas? With the COVID-19 going on, is this retirement visa still available? How long does this process take?
Thank you,
Jessica
Dear Mrs. Jessica,
Thank you for your comment.
Yes its possible to obtain the retirement KITAS in Surabaya, but due to Pandemic the immigration has not been issuing offshore retirement KITAS yet. For now only way to get the retirement KITAS is to enter Indonesia with B211A Tourist Visa and then change the status to Retirement KITAS. The process is quite expensive and can take long.
