In accordance with the enactment of Permenaker No.16 2015 regarding the Procedures for Foreign Manpower, starting Monday, August 31, 2015 TA.01 (Reccommendation for VITAS- Limitd Stay Permit) process is being eliminated. Directly IMTA (Ijin Mempekerjakan Tenaga Kerja Asing or Work Permit will be processed after RPTKA (Rencana Penggunaan Tenaga Kerja Warga Negara Asing) – Expatriate Manpower Utilization Plan) is approved by Manpower Department. Only after IMTA (Ijin Mempekerjakan Tenaga Kerja Asing) or Work Permit approval applicant will be able to apply for approval visa (VITAS) at Directorate General of Immigration.
A new applications for TA.01 (Reccommendation for VITAS- Limitd Stay Permit) can only be made until August 26, 2015.
The applications for TA.01 (Reccommendation for VITAS- Limitd Stay Permit) at Manpower Depatrtment counter will be received until August 27, 2015. Online TA.01 (Reccommendation for VITAS- Limitd Stay Permit) applications which are not received at counter until August 27, 2015 will be deleted from the system.
Foreign Workers who wish to obtain an emergency or temporary Work Permit & KITAS can directly pay DPKK – Dana Pengembangan Keahlian dan Keterampilan (Expertise and Skills Development Fund) and apply for IMTA by attaching a proof of DPKK payment and other required documents with the application.
However applicants who wish to obtain Work Permit for a period of 2 to 12 months must wait for RPTKA approval and then pay DPKK – Dana Pengembangan Keahlian dan Keterampilan (Expertise and Skills Development Fund) according to the approved period for Work Permit. After payment of DPKK applicants can apply for IMTA by uploading Proof of DPKK payment and other required documents.
