DPKK – Dana Pengembangan Keahlian dan Keterampilan (Expertise and Skills Development Fund)

DPKK – Dana Pengembangan Keahlian dan Keterampilan (Expertise and Skills Development Fund) is the compensation paid by Indonesian based companies or employers for hiring the foreign workers. DPKK is paid directly to the Department of Manpower (DEPNAKER), Indonesia (in accordance with the Manpower Act No. 13 Year 2003). This compensation is intended to support training and development of Indonesian human resources. For each foreign employee USD 100 per month (USD 1200 per year) must be paid to the following account before the Work Permit can be approved:

In accordance with the Manpower Act No. 13 Year 2003 Government Agencies, International Agencies, Social and Religious Undertakings and certain positions in educational institutions are exempted from DPKK – Dana Pengembangan Keahlian dan Keterampilan (Expertise and Skills Development Fund) payment. The exemption of DPKK for above mentioned positions of expatriate must be approved by Ministry of Manpower.
