Indonesia, a country renowned for its rich cultural heritage and stunning natural beauty, has recently made a significant change to its visa policy. The Indonesian Directorate General of Immigration has launched Multiple-Entry Visitor Visa which can be valid for 1 Year, 2 years, 5 years and 10 years and available to both tourists and business travelers. In order to obtain a Multiple-Entry Visitor Visa with 10 years validity, the foreigner concerned must have entered Indonesian territory using a Multiple-Entry Visitor Visa with a validity period of 5 (five) years within the last 3 (three) years. . This new policy is a strategic initiative aimed at promoting tourism and stimulating economic growth in Indonesia. The Multiple-Entry Visitor Visa allows individuals to stay in the country for up to 60 days at a time and permits multiple entries during the validity of the visa. This provides a high degree of flexibility and convenience, making it an attractive option for both tourists and business travelers.

The Multiple-Entry Visitor Visa can be granted to foreigners to carry out following activities:

  • tourism;
  • family;
  • continue traveling to other countries;

  3. Hello

    Can we get detail on the difference between “business” on a business visa and “working” which is not permitted on a business visa. Are you able to provide detailed advice in that regard?

    • Dear Mr. David,

      Thank you for your comment.

      Business on the Business Visa refers to the business meetings, seminars and other short terms business transaction which does not involve income of any kind.

      On the other hand applicant of Work Permit will have a permanent work in the company, with a Job Title of his/her own and will receive salary or income from the company.

      Should you require further information on this regard, please do not hesitate to contact us via email.

    • Hi,

      How abt a Director of a Foreign Company who does “not” receive any salary from Indonesian Company & the contracts were between an Indonesian & Foreign Company. In this case, will the Director of the foreign company only need a Business visa or Kitas? The Director only needs to be in Indonesia max. twice a year for a max period of 7 weeks for each visit.

      Thanks,
      Sabrina

      • Dear Sabrina,

        Thank you for your comment.

        If the Director is Non-resident then he may use a Business Visa to visit the company as long as he is not working while he is in Indonesia and only attending a meeting or business transaction.

        Should you require further information on this matter, please so not hesitate to contact us.

    a. Visa apa yang sesuai dengan kegiatan tersebut?

    Kami sangat menghargai bantuan Bapak/Ibu terkait pertanyaan diatas. Terima kasih.

    • Dear Rishell,

      Terima kasih atas komen anda.

      Atas perhatian ibu kami ucapkan terima kasih.

      Salam,
      Admin
